the wheels on the bus

TeacherStudentDeskI have been singing a song for more than a year now. Actually, it was more than two years now or maybe more. I sang it thousands of times to notice that it comes to me automatically.

If you’re a teacher, you might be familiar with it. If you’re a pre-school teacher, chances are you’ve mastered it. But if you’re a therapist like me, you might have the equivalent of a Ph.D. in knowing this song.

  1. Strangely enough, I never did manage to memorize the sequence for that song. But as long I knew that something turned round and round, swish swish swish, open and close, up and down, waa-waa-waa, shh-shh-shh, it didn't matter to the kids in what order I sang it, so long as I kept with the tunes and the actions. And they do seem to enjoy it a lot. :D

I never would have pegged you as someone who hated vegetables. Hehe. Well, I do know what you mean. Personally, I don't have anything against vegetables, and I was taught to eat what was served on the table. Although I did feel disdain towards ampalaya, baguio beans, okra, and talong. My Papa always insisted to taste everything first, before being picky. TBH, I'm more picky now as compared to before. =x I have yet to come to the point where I have to tell my parents to eat their vegetables (my grandparents are all dead, and my parents eat their vegetables just fine), and I honestly hope I won't (eating healthy does prolong life, and my Papa knows that, being a doctor and all). But I do nag my siblings about it, and when the time does come, I'll be sure to remind my parents as well.

Besides, nothing beats using their own argument against them. :D
